Breakfast Waffles with all the Trimmings

A proper fry up with sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and home made potato waffles thrown in for good measure!

Ingreadient :

    For the Waffles

    • 250g plain flour
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 2 tbsp butter, melted
    • 3 eggs
    • 200ml milk
    • 100g diced potatoes, fried
    • 100g bacon lardons, cooked 
    • 8 sausages, cooked in lard
    • 6 tomatoes, halved and cooked in lard and thyme
    • Field mushroom, filled with butter and thyme and then cooked with the sausages and tomatoes cooked in lard and thyme
    • Fried back bacon
    • Fried eggs

    To serve

    • Maple syrup whipped with  butter
Direction :
    1. To make the waffles, whisk all of the ingredients together. Then, ladle into a waffle machine and cook until golden.
    2. Plate up the cooked sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon and eggs. Sit the waffles on the side and top with maple butter.
